Arioso Strings is available for:

• Wedding ceremonies and receptions
• Cocktail hours and receptions

For weddings, our Wedding Music Planner  and Ceremony Suggestions will help put together a seamless, beautiful ceremony.

Available Ensembles:

• Quartet: two violins, viola & cello
• Quintet: two violins, viola, cello & double bass
• Trio: two violins & cello
• Duo: violin & guitar; violin & cello; or two violins
• Solo: guitar, violin, trumpet or singer
• Ensemble additions: Singer or trumpet

All one hour wedding packages include the options of:

• Professional consultations by email, phone or in person at my studio in Cary
• 20-30 minutes of prelude music as guests arrive and are seated
• Music for seating mothers and grandmothers
• Music for the attendants
• Music for the processional
• Music during candle lighting or other ceremony
• Recessional music for the happy couple
• Additional music as guests exit
• No additional cost for travel for events within 25 miles from RDU
• Wedding ceremonies lasting more than one hour can be prorated as needed.

Music for receptions and cocktail hours:

• All groups have a variety of beautiful music for cocktail hours, receptions, dinners and more.

Outdoor weddings:

Weather permitting, we play many outdoor weddings. Musical instruments are easily damaged by severe weather and direct sun, rain and temperature. Therefore, we have a few guidelines to protect them:

• Our main concerns are the safety of the instruments and the ability to provide quality music. This means that we must be in full shade and in cold weather we can not play outdoors in temperatures below 60 degrees. A tented facility with space heaters is acceptable in colder weather.

• We can not play in the rain, as even a little rain will damage our instruments. All outdoor weddings should have a back-up facility or a very large tent where musicians are protected from rain.
